1. Media Rights & Brand Usage

1.1 Prior Authorization Required

All press, media, and public communications involving Art Unlock Inc. (“Art Unlock”, “we”, “our”) must receive prior written approval from:

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Reproduction of Art Unlock’s brand materials
  • Use of logos, trademarks, or brand identifiers
  • Publication or broadcast of platform screenshots or interface designs
  • Use of promotional assets, announcements, or curated lists
  • Media coverage referencing Art Unlock programming, events, or festivals

1.2 Prohibited Use without Permission

No party may:

  • Modify, distort, or alter Art Unlock’s logos or branding
  • Use Art Unlock’s name for endorsement or partnership claims without consent
  • Reproduce copyrighted platform elements, including listings, descriptions, or curated selections

Unauthorized use may result in legal action under applicable trademark, copyright, and publicity laws.

2. Use of Artist Content

2.1 Permission Requirements

Media partners wishing to reproduce any artist images, artworks, studio photographs, or documentation displayed on the Platform must request authorization in advance.

Requests must include:

  • The Artist’s full name
  • The intended usage (e.g., press coverage, article, catalog)
  • A direct link to the Artist’s profile on Art Unlock

2.2 Copyright Clarification

Artists retain full copyright and intellectual property rights over their images, artworks, and studio content.

Art Unlock cannot grant rights to use artist materials without:

  • The artist’s explicit consent, or
  • Confirmation of existing usage permissions

2.3 Mandatory Credit Line

When artist content is approved for publication, the following credit must appear clearly:

“Courtesy of [Artist Name] and Art Unlock Inc.”

Any omission of credits is considered a violation of this policy.

3. Press Accreditation

3.1 Eligibility

Accredited press representatives—including journalists, photographers, editors, producers, and media outlets—may apply for official press accreditation during the Art Unlock International Open Studios Festival or any related programming.

3.2 Accreditation Benefits

Accredited press may gain supervised access to:

  • Selected artist studios
  • Public and private events
  • Interviews with participating artists
  • Opening receptions, guided tours, and press previews

3.3 Accreditation Requirements

All applicants must provide:

  • Name and media organization
  • Professional credentials or portfolio
  • Intended coverage scope and publication channels
  • Verification of editorial role

Applications may be approved or denied at Art Unlock’s discretion.

3.4 Obligations of Accredited Press

Accredited press must:

  • Follow all safety and conduct guidelines
  • Respect studio rules established by each artist
  • Obtain consent before filming, photographing, or recording
  • Credit both the artist and Art Unlock in all published materials
  • Submit coverage copies upon request

Failure to comply may result in revocation of accreditation.

4. Press Content Usage & Attribution

4.1 Mandatory Credits

All photographs, videos, recordings, or written materials produced in relation to Art Unlock must include clear and visible attribution:

“© Art Unlock Inc. — Used with permission”
and
“Artwork © [Artist Name].”

4.2 Restrictions on Commercial Use

Press materials obtained through Art Unlock are for editorial purposes only, unless the User secures additional commercial licensing directly from the artist or copyright owner.

4.3 Non-Endorsement Notice

Press content may not imply that Art Unlock endorses:

  • A publication
  • A journalist
  • A media organization
  • A commercial product
  • A political or advocacy initiative

5. Revocation of Rights

Art Unlock reserves the right to:

  • Withdraw permissions previously granted
  • Request removal or correction of inaccurate coverage
  • Revoke press accreditation immediately for non-compliance
  • Prohibit future media access if policy violations occur
