Art Unlock is an international directory that connects artists, institutions, cultural services, and the public in a single digital space, facilitating visibility and direct contact without intermediaries.

Artists of all disciplines and career levels, as well as galleries, museums, collectives, residencies, cultural organizations, and art-related services.

Each user creates a profile according to their category and chosen plan. This profile is integrated into the directory, appears on the global map, and can be viewed by the public, collectors, curators, critics, and other institutions.

The free plan provides basic access (1 image, minimal data, and location). The paid plans expand visibility with more comprehensive pages, more images, a biography, an artist statement, links, event credits, and priority publishing.

No. Sales are managed directly between the artist and the buyer. Art Unlock facilitates visibility and contact but does not charge commissions.

2. Memberships and Registration

There are four membership levels: Emergent (or Basic), Popular (or Establish), Professional, and Master (or Premium). Each offers different benefits in image capacity, detailed information, event credits, and faster publishing times.

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your user dashboard.

Yes. Cancellation is immediate and without penalties.

We accept international credit and debit cards, as well as other digital payment gateways that will be added progressively.

Yes, unless the user disables automatic renewal from their dashboard.

You can still join, but you will not have access to the 50% lifetime discount available only during the launch Open Call (September 1 – December 31, 2025).

Yes. Participants in the first Open Call receive a permanent 50% discount on their paid memberships.

You can request support via an online form. Our team will evaluate your case and look for a viable solution. The process may take up to 3 months, depending on the volume of applications.

3. Artist Profiles

Basic details, discipline, location, images of your work, and depending on the plan, a biography, artist statement, external links, and details about your space.

Yes. Your profile is editable at any time from your user dashboard.

Formats: JPG or PNG. Recommended minimum resolution: 150 dpi. The number of images depends on your membership plan.

Yes. You can update your address at any time when working in a residency, exhibition, or other temporary space. Furthermore, on the Professional and Master plans, you have the option to register only your website if you do not have a stable physical space.

4. Institutions and Services

Yes. There are specific plans for institutions with tailored benefits.

Programs, exhibitions, represented artists, opening hours, and location.

Printing, framing, transport, logistics, space rental, equipment rental, design, marketing, web development, and other services useful for artists and institutions.

Targeted visibility, access to a target audience, and the ability to connect with artists, residencies, and collectives in one space.

5. Events

Registered artists, institutions, or services. External users can also publish events by purchasing credits.

Exhibitions, workshops, residencies, conferences, fairs, and open calls.

A standardized postcard (10×8 inches, vertical, 150 dpi), basic information (dates, location, organizers, participants), and external links.

Yes. Each plan offers a monthly amount of credits.

Yes. They will be available in separate packages.

Between 1 and 7 business days, depending on the volume of requests.

Yes. You can upload it in advance, and it will become visible on the date you specify.

6. Security and Privacy

No. Only basic details and the studio location are displayed.
