What is Art Unlock?
Every August, the world transforms into a cultural map where thousands of artists open their doors—physical or online—to share the essence of their practice. We call it Art Unlock (International Festival of Open Studios): an event that connects the intimate with the global, the local with the digital.
Here, the studio is more than a space: it is a workshop, an archive, and an autonomous territory. We recognize both the strength of the physical studio and the relevance of the digital studio as a natural extension of the artistic journey. Art Unlock offers both equal visibility and direct connections, without filters or intermediaries.
We believe in inclusion. We do not evaluate or rank: emerging and established artists coexist here with the same opportunity to be seen. Our role is not to dictate which art has more value, but to facilitate authentic encounters between those who create and those who seek to connect with art.
Our commitment is to build a sustainable, accessible, and transparent platform. That is why we offer a free plan to join the global directory, along with affordable membership options that expand visibility, resources, and opportunities for artists, institutions, and art-related services.
Art Unlock is inclusive, multicultural, and open. With this vision, we aim to consolidate the first truly international festival of Open Studios, transforming a local and fragmented phenomenon into a coordinated global experience.
Inaugural Edition
In August 2026, artists around the world will open their studios in a synchronized global program.
Art Unlock turns an individual gesture into an international collective movement. The directory runs year-round, but August will be the main stage: a month dedicated to Open Studios like never before.
Institutions, residencies, and cultural programs will also take part, this time orbiting around the true protagonist: THE ARTIST AND THEIR SPACE.
This inaugural edition not only launches a unique festival but also a platform that redefines how art connects with its audiences.

Event Category
In addition to the studio directory, you can publish: exhibitions, conferences, workshops, residencies, and fairs.
Each plan includes monthly credits to publish.
- Users without membership can also purchase credits.
- Each event is presented with a standard postcard (10 x 8 inches, vertical, 150 dpi), ready for web and social media.
- Events are published within 1–7 business days, depending on the volume of requests.
The official launch of the site will be on March 1, 2026; events submitted earlier will be published starting on that date.
