This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) applies to all Users and Artists who purchase Premium Plans, upgrades, booking-related services, or participate in any paid feature on the Art Unlock Platform (“Platform”).
By completing a payment, you agree to the terms below.
1. General Policy — All Sales Are Final
1.1 No Refunds
All payments made to Art Unlock, including:
- Subscription fees
- Membership upgrades
- Profile enhancements
- Booking-related fees
- Festival or event-related fees
- Promotional services
are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where required by law.
1.2 Payment for Access, Not Outcomes
Fees provide access to Platform features but do not guarantee:
- Increased visibility
- Bookings
- Studio visits
- Sales or commissions
- Press, publicity, or exposure
- Inclusion in events or editorial selections
Results vary by user activity, profile completeness, and platform algorithms.
2. Subscription Terms (Premium Plans)
2.1 Billing
Premium Plans may be billed:
- One-time
- Annually (non-recurring or recurring)
- As otherwise specified on the Platform
2.2 Auto-Renewal
If auto-renewal is enabled:
- The plan renews at the listed rate
- Your payment method will be charged automatically
- You may disable auto-renewal at any time in your account settings
2.3 No Refund for Late Cancellations
If you cancel after your renewal date:
- You will not receive a refund
- Your plan remains active until the end of the billing period
3. Downgrades & Plan Changes
3.1 Downgrades
If you downgrade to a lower plan:
- No partial refunds are issued
- Changes take effect at the next billing cycle
3.2 Upgrades
Upgrades may require an additional payment. Upgrade fees are non-refundable.
4. Account Suspension or Termination
4.1 Violations of Terms
If your account is suspended or terminated due to:
- Policy violations
- Unsafe behavior
- Fraudulent activity
- Harassment
- Inaccurate or misleading information
- Prohibited content
- Misuse of the Platform
— you will not receive a refund.
4.2 Voluntary Account Closure
If you close your account voluntarily:
- You will not receive a refund
- Your plan remains active until the end of the billing cycle
- After closure, access to paid features ends immediately
5. Event & Booking Fees (If Applicable)
5.1 Artist Cancellations
If an Artist cancels a scheduled visit:
- Art Unlock is not responsible for refunds
- Users must resolve disputes directly with the Artist
5.2 Visitor Cancellations
Visitor cancellations do not entitle Users or Artists to Platform refunds.
5.3 Festival or Program Fees
Fees associated with official Art Unlock Festivals, Open Studios, or public programs are non-refundable, including:
- Registration fees
- Participation fees
- Visibility or promotional fees
Even if:
- The Artist cancels
- There is a schedule change
- Visitors do not attend
- The Artist withdraws
- External circumstances arise
6. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
Users agree not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes without first contacting Art Unlock at:

Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may result in:
- Account suspension
- Permanent ban
- Collection actions
- Reporting to payment processors
7. Legal Exceptions
Refunds may only be issued where required under:
- Applicable U.S. consumer protection laws
- EU consumer rights law (for certain digital services)
- Other mandatory legal frameworks
If a refund is legally required, it will cover only the specific regulated amount. Art Unlock will comply with applicable law but may request additional verification.
